Godavari College of Engineering is just one of the
venture of Godavari Foundation set up by person with
high academic record at the behest of very young
altruist Dr. Ulhas Patil in 1999 at Jalgaon.
Jalgaon, developing as a decent city, with district
headquarter, is famous all over India as the center
of foremost banana growing area. It has recently
acquired the fame as “GOLD CITY” for heavy gold
trading and it’s MIDC has several industries of
international repute. The district has been
producing intellectual manpower spread not only all
over India but through major developed and
developing countries in the world.
Jalgaon City is situated in the northern part of
Maharashtra on main railway route Mumbai-Calcutta,
Mumbai-Delhi, Mumbai-Jammu, Mumbai-Guwahati, Mumbai-Ranchi,
Mumbai-Patna, Bhusawal-Ahmedabad; it is also on
National Highway Number 6. The college campus just
touches this highway. The famous railway junction
and divisional headquarter of Central Railway,
Bhusawal is just 22 Km from the college. World
famous Ajanta & Ellora caves are just two hour’s bus
route.
